Social Media Coordinator

Fasig-Tipton is looking for an organized, proactive and digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator with a creative eye to help tell the story of North America's oldest Thoroughbred auction house.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around social media, is highly organized and can keep multiple projects moving, while also having a good eye for content and the ability to spot a story before everyone else does. You'll work across Fasig-Tipton's live and digital sales, coordinating, creating and publishing content that gets noticed.

The Role

  • Take ownership of the social media content calendar, coordinating content across platforms and ensuring everything is planned, scheduled and published on time.
  • Write sharp, on-brand copy for social media and press releases.
  • Assist with capturing content at sales, racing and industry events.
  • Work with photography, video and graphics to create engaging, social-first content.
  • Support paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Track Fasig-Tipton graduates and weekend winners, publishing results on social media. 
  • Work closely with the marketing team to coordinate and deliver content in line with wider objectives.
  • Monitor and report on social media analytics and performance.

The Candidate

  • Passionate about bloodstock, racing and social media.
  • Previous experience in social media, digital marketing or a similar role.
  • Highly organized, proactive and confident managing multiple platforms, projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and contributing as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Sprout Social & Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Graphic design, photography and videography skills are a plus.
  • Flexible and willing to work weekends.

This is a full-time position based in Lexington, Kentucky. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits include Health, Dental & 401 (k).
