Hip 366, a colt by Shackleford, sold for $230,000 during the first session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The colt, a half-brother to Eclipse Champion 3YO Filly Monomoy Girl, was purchased by Highbury Bloodstock from the consignment of Gainesway, agent.

Preakness S. (G1) winner Shackleford earned just over $3,000,000 in his career, and is already the sire of 11 stakes winners to date, including Grade 1 winner Promises Fulfilled and graded stakes winners Malagacy, Danuska's My Girl, Wellabled, and Dream It Is.

This colt is a half-brother to three winners out of the winning Henny Hughes mare Drumette, most notably to last year's Eclipse Champion Monomoy Girl. That filly has won nine of 11 starts to date at 2 and 3, with five Grade 1 victories to her credit, including last year's Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) and Kentucky Oaks (G1). Dam Drumette is a half-sister to graded stakes winner Drum Major, from the immediate family of champion and Grade 1 winner Heavenly Cause.

Hip 366 was bred in Kentucky by Frankfort Park Farm & Michael Hernon.
