Hip 1558, a colt by Ghostzapper, sold for $400,000 late during the final session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The bay colt was purchased by Kenneth McPeek, agent from the consignment of Warrendale Sales, agent for Stonestreet Bred & Raised.

Ghostzapper is the sire this year of Del Mar Futurity (G1) winner Nucky and multiple Grade 1 winner Guarana. He has also sired Grade 1 winning males Shaman Ghost, Moreno, and Stately Victor among his 12 lifetime Grade 1 winners.

This colt is out of the graded stakes winning Malibu Moon mare Winding Way. That mare is already the dam of a winner, and is a full sister to multiple Grade 2 winner Kauai Katie. This is the immediate family of 18-time winner and graded stakes winner Cimarron Secret.

Hip 1558 was bred in Kentucky by Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings LLC.
