Mike Ryan to $410,000 for Uncle Mo Colt

Hip 1033, a colt by Uncle Mo, sold for $410,000 during the third session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The bay colt was purchased by Mike Ryan, agent from the consignment of Indian Creek, agent.

Champion Freshman Sire of 2015, Uncle Mo is already the sire of dual Eclipse Champion colt Nyquist, winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and Kentucky Derby (G1), as well as of Grade 1 winning colts Outwork and Mo Town.

This colt is the second foal out of a Stormy Atlantic half-sister to Grade 1 winners Lear's Princess and Pretty City Dancer. Third dam Pretty Special produced no less than nine winners, including Grade 1 winning millionaire My Big Boy and multiple stakes winner and stakes producer Forever Command.

Hip 1033 was bred in Kentucky by Meg Dumaine.
