Fasig-Tipton to Sponsor Record Best Turned Out Prize at Dubai World Cup 2023

Dedicated to those who take such diligent care of the equine athletes we love, Fasig-Tipton will sponsor $10,000 worth of ‘Best Turned Out Horse’ awards at the 27th Dubai World Cup, including a world-leading $2,000 for the winner of the Group 1, $12 million Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airline.  

The remaining eight Dubai World Cup meeting fixtures, including the Group 1, $6 million Longines Dubai Sheema Classic—featuring a clash of Japanese Horse of the Year Equinox and Breeders’ Cup Turf champion Rebel’s Romance—will boast ‘Best Turned Out Horse’ prize money of $1,000 apiece. 

One of the world’s most iconic and globally renowned race meetings, Dubai World Cup meeting takes place on Saturday, March 25, at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, UAE, and will feature $30.5 million in stakes, including six Group 1s and three Group 2s. Horses from more than a dozen countries will compete, including Japan, England, Hong Kong, France, Uruguay, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Fasig-Tipton Middle East Representative Michael Adolphson will be on hand to award all of the winners.

First post time of the Dubai World Cup meeting takes place at 3:30 p.m. local (7:30 a.m. Eastern), while the Dubai World Cup race goes at 8:35 p.m. (12:35 p.m. Eastern).
