Dazzlingdominika Sells for $120,000 at the Ready Made Racing Flash Sale

Dazzlingdominika, a two-year-old daughter of Ghostzapper, sold for $120,000 as the sole offering in Fasig-Tipton Digital's Ready Made Racing Flash Sale. Eric Waller purchased the recent maiden winner from consignor Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Ready Made Racing. Bidding opened on Monday, May 23 at 12 PM EDT and closed Thursday, May 26 at 2 PM EDT.

New venture Ready Made Racing bought the Ghostzapper filly as a yearling for $30,000 with the intent to sell if she broke her maiden. When Dazzlingdominika broke her maiden at Churchill Downs on May 13, the principals opted to offer her to the public in a flash sale conducted by Fasig-Tipton Digital.

"We came up with a game plan six, seven months ago," trainer and Ready Made Racing partner Will Walden told Thoroughbred Daily News. "In order for Ready Made to do this again next year, we have to sell these horses in order to raise money to go to the sales again. This has been the plan all along."

A winner in two starts at two, Dazzlingdominika has earned $53,720 to date. The chestnut filly is the first foal out of the winning Trappe Shot mare Trappingsofsilver. That mare is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Heir Kitty. Dazzlingdominika hails from the immediate family of last year's Arkansas Derby (G1) winner and millionaire Super Stock.

The sale marked the second time Fasig-Tipton Digital offered a flash sale, following up on the success of the Fox Hill Flash Sale in early April, when broodmare prospect Sweet Tea sold for $320,000 to Vicente Perez from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for Fox Hill Farm.
