Into Mischief Colt Sells for $300,000
Hip 163, a colt by popular juvenile sire Into Mischief, sold for $300,000 at the Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale. The bay colt was purchased by Reade Baker, agent for Paul Braverman from the consignment of Eddie Woods, agent after working an eighth in 10:3 (video).
Into Mischief is consistently among the leading sires of two-year-olds in North America, and is responsible for Instagrand and Maximus Mischief, both Grade 2 winners at 2 last year and graduates of Fasig-Tipton two-year-old sales. This colt is a half-brother to three winners from as many to race out of the Deputy Minister mare Game Show. That mare is out of stakes winner Vana Turns, making her a half-sister to Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Pike Place Dancer; Grade 2 winner and multiple graded stakes winner Petionville; and French stakes winner Midnight Foxtrot (GB).
Hip 162 was previously offered at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale of selected yearlings, where he was purchased for $190,000 by Bradley Thoroughbreds from the consignment of Baccari Bloodstock.
