McPeek to $500,000 for Street Sense Colt
Hip 156, a colt by juvenile champion Street Sense, sold for $500,000 to take the lead at the Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale. The bay colt was purchased by Kenneth McPeek, agent from the consignment of Top Line Sales, agent after working a quarter in 21:4 (video).
Street Sense, champion at 2 and winner of his generations Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) and Kentucky Derby (G1), is represented by a bevy of Grade and Group 1 winners across the globe, including millionaire sons McKinzie, Sense of Occasion (AUS), and Hallowed Crown (AUS). This colt is a half-brother to two winners out of the Forest Wildcat mare Forest Fashion, a half-sister to two stakes horses. The immediate family includes Frizette S. (G1) winner Charlestown Rag (IRE) and Epsom Oaks (G1) victress Casual Look, as well as graded/group stakes winners Magnificence, Fashion Statement, and Casual Smile (GB).
