Brody's Cause Filly Sells for $240,000

Hip 305, a filly from the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner Brody's Cause, sold for $240,000 at The July Sale. The chestnut filly was purchased by Sweetwater Trading Co., agent for Cool Breeze Sales from the consignment of Four Star Sales, agent for Spendthrift Farm LLC.

Brody's Cause won the Breeders' Futurity (G1) at two and the Blue Grass S. (G1) at three on his way to career earnings of $1,168,138. This filly from his first crop is the second foal out of a ful sister to Graded Stakes winner Prospective. Hip 305 hails from the immediate family of Champion North Sider, a Grade 1 winning earner of $1,126,400.

Hip 305 was bred in Kentucky.
