Flatter Colt to China Horse Club, Maverick Racing for $440,000

Hip 22, a colt by Flatter, sold for $440,000 early at The July Sale. The bay colt was purchased by China Horse Club/Maverick Racing from the consignment of Indian Creek, agent.

This colt is the third foal out Ruth and Neva, a multiple stakes placed half-sister to Graded Stakes winner Sassy Sienna. The immediate family includes Champion Silvestro, Group 1 winner Romildo, and Grade 2 winners Golden Reef and Jazino.

Hip 22 was bred in Kentucky by Susan King.
