Bodemeister Half to Wonder Gadot Brings $300,000

A colt by BODEMEISTER, a current leading third crop sire and sire of last year’s Kentucky Derby (G1) winner ALWAYS DREAMING, sold for $300,000 during the third session of The October Sale. Offered as Hip 859, the dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Catherine M. Day-Phillips, agent from the consignment of Anderson Farms, agent.

This colt is a half-brother to WONDER GADOT, champion, classic winner, graded stakes winner, and multiple Grade 1 placed earner of nearly $1,500,000 date. Dam LOVING VINDICATION, by VINDICATION, is also the dam of Grade 2 placed stakes winner SOLEMN TRIBUTE. The immediate family also includes Grade 1 winners MASHALLAH and FOLK ART, as well as graded stakes winners CHIMCHURRI and EXHIBITION.

Hip 859 was foaled in Ontario.
