Pretty City Dancer to Stroud & Coleman for $3,500,000
Grade 1 winner PRETTY CITY DANCER, carrying her first foal by MEDAGLIA D’ORO, sold for $3,500,000 at The November Sale. Offered as Hip 122, the four-year-old TAPIT mare was purchased by Stroud & Coleman from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
PRETTY CITY DANCER won the prestigious Spinaway S. (G1) at Saratoga at two. She also captured the Debutante S. as a juvenile and was Grade 2 placed at three. She won three times in five starts and earned $285,344 and was campaigned by owner John C. Oxley and trainer Mark Casse.
This mare is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner LEAR’S PRINCESS out of the unraced CARSON CITY mare PRETTY CITY, who is herself a half-sister to Grade 1 winner MY BIG BOY and to stakes winner and stakes producer FOREVER COMMAND.
