La Coronel to K I Farm for $1,500,000

Grade 1 winner LA CORONEL sold for $1,500,000 at The November Sale. Offered as Hip 213, the four-year-old racing and/or broodmare prospect was purchased by K I Farm from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

LA CORONEL showed her talent at three, winning the Jessamine S. (G3). At three, she captured three graded stakes, including the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup S. (G1). A graduate of The October Sale, LA CORONEL won five times for owner John C. Oxley and trainer Mark Casse, earning $838,344.

LA CORONEL is out of LISTEN, a stakes placed CHESTER HOUSE half-sister to Grade 2 winner LISTEN HERE and stakes winner INDY BIRD. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winners BONAPAW, LOST IN THE FOG, and LISTENING.
