Shadai Farm to $1,200,000 for Fault

FAULT, a Grade 1 winning daughter of BLAME, sold for $1,200,000 at The November Sale. Offered as Hip 193, the four-year-old racing and/or broodmare prospect was purchased by Shadai Farm from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

FAULT won the Pucker Up S. (G3) at three, but came into her best form at four, winning the Santa Margarita S. (G1), Buena Vista S. (G2), and Adoration S. (G3) in her three starts this year. She won or placed in 13 of 16 career starts and earned $618,795 to date for owner Agave Racing Stable and Little Red Feather Racing and trainer Phil D’Amato.

This filly is a half-sister to graded stakes placed BETWEENHEREANDCOOL, a 15-time winner with earnings of more than $300,000, out of the stakes winning HORSE CHESTNUT (SAF) mare CHARMING N LOVABLE. This is the immediate family of Grade 2 winner FIORETTI.
