Appealing Zophie Sells for $1,200,000

Grade 1 winner and producer APPEALING ZOPHIE sold for $1,200,000 at The November Sale. Offered in foal to TAPIT as Hip 159, the daughter of SUCCESSFUL APPEAL was purchased by Barronstown Stud from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.

APPEALING ZOPHIE, winner of the Spinaway S. (G1) at two and the Silverbulletday S. (G3) at three, earned nearly $500,000 in career, and is now the dam of two graded stakes winners. She is the dam of Belmont S. (G1) winner TAPWRIT and is carrying a full sibling to her classic winning offspring. She has also produced RIDE A COMET, a colt by CANDY RIDE (ARG) which won the Del Mar Derby (G2) this year.

APPEALING ZOPHIE is from the immediate family of Champion RYANS CHARM and Grade 1 winners CROESO and SUPER MAY.
