Waves Bloodstock to $260,000 for Liam's Map Filly

Hip 257, a filly from the second crop of Liam's Map, sold for $260,000 during the first session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale! The gray or roan filly was purchased by Waves Bloodstock from the consignment of Mulholland Farm.

Liam's Map, track record-setting winner of the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1), is the current Leading Freshman Sire by Grade 1 winners. His eight winners to date include runaway Hopeful S. (G1) winner Basin and impressive Frizette S. (G1) winner Wicked Whisper. Liam's Map ranks at #5 on the overall Freshman Sire list.

This filly is out of the winning Mineshaft mare Cocoanut Row, who has already produced a winner.  That mare is a half-sister to no less than 10 other winners, including stakes winners Dude Fantasy, Dixie Dreamer, and Dixie High. This is the immediate family of champion and breed-shaping sire Rubiano and multiple Grade 1 winning millionaire Life At Ten.

Hip 257 was bred in Kentucky by Joe B. Mulholland Jr., John P. Mulholland & Karen Mulholland.
