Bashford Manor winner ROMEO headlines latest entries to July Selected Horses of Racing Age

Fasig-Tipton has catalogued an additional five entries to its July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, which will be held this Tuesday, July 8 in Lexington, Kentucky.

These entries include Romeo (Hip 370), impressive winner of last weekend’s Bashford Manor S. at Churchill Down by nearly four lengths.  The two-year-old son of Honor A.P. went gate-to-wire earning an 85 Beyer speed figure and 12 Ragozin in the victory. Romeo is consigned by Paramount Sales, agent.

Other new entries include:

  • Classic Catch (Hip 366): Five-year-old multiple stakes placed horse finished second – beaten just a half-length— in a classified allowance race at Saratoga on June 5 going 1 1/8 miles, earning a 99 Beyer speed figure.  Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
  • Jackstown (Hip 367): Five-year-old son of Speightstown finished third in last year’s Bing Crosby S. (G1) earning a 99 Beyer.  Consigned by Elite, agent.
  • Delancey Street (Hip 368): Two-year-old son of Street Sense has been working steadily towards his career debut.  Consigned by Mulholland Springs, agent for the Estate of D. Wayne Lukas & Partners.
  • Nanzig (Hip 369): Two-year-old daughter of Maclean’s Music finished third on July 5 in a Maiden Special Weight.  Consigned by Mulholland Springs, agent.

The July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale will begin immediately following The July Sale of Selected Yearlings, to be held the same day.
