Ghostzapper Colt to Paca Paca Farm for $410,000

Hip 50, a colt by Ghostzapper, sold for $410,000 at The November Sale. The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Paca Paca Farm from the consignment of Scott Mallory, agent for Paul Tackett & Ghostzapper Syndicate.

Ghostzapper is the sire this year of Runhappy Del Mar Futurity (G1) winner Nucky, as well multiple Grade 1 winner Guarana. Ghostzapper is responsible for Grade 1 winning males such as Shaman Ghost and Moreno, both millionaires.

This colt is out of the Medaglia d'Oro mare Orphea, whose first three foals to race are all winners and include graded stakes placed Born to Be Winner. Second dam is multiple Grade 2 winner Nasty Storm, dam of multiple group stakes winner Actress (IRE). Nasty Storm also produced the dam of graded stakes winner Causeforcommotion.

Hip 50 was bred in Kentucky by Ghostzapper Syndicate & Paul Tackett Revocable Trust.
