Well-Related Uncle Mo Filly to Lothenbach Stables for $350,000
Hip 90, a filly by successful young sire Uncle Mo, sold for $350,000 mid-day at the Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale. The bay filly was purchased after working an eighth in 10:2 (video) by Lothenbach Stables from the consignment of Top Line Sales, agent.
Champion racehorse and sire Uncle Mo is responsible for exceptional fillies like Unbridled Mo, Dream Tream, and Gomo. This filly is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Claire’s Song, and is a half-sister to stakes placed winner Elusive Mischief. Second dam is graded stakes winner Chimichurri, whose daughters have already produced Canadian Horse of the Year Wonder Gadot; Beholder S. (G1) winner Secret Spice, a graduate of the 2017 Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale; stakes winner Solemn Tribute; and Hard Not to Love, a multiple winning stakes placed sophomore in three starts this year. The immediate family also includes Grade/Group 1 winners Mashaallaah and Folk Art.
Hip 90 was offered at the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky October Yearlings sale, where she sold to Zayat Stables for $160,000 from the consignment of Indian Creek.
