Hip 501, a colt by Into Mischief, sold for $800,000 during the second session of the Selected Yearlings Showcase. The bay colt was purchased by Donato Lanni, agent for SF/Starlight/Madaket from the consignment of Indian Creek, agent.

Into Mischief, last year's champion sire and this year's current leading sire, has sired top colts such as Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Authentic, dual Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) winner Goldencents, and Grade 1 winner Audible.

This colt is the first foal out the Distorted Humor mare Blind Copy, a full sister to juvenile stakes winner Lucky Folie. Second dam is the graded stakes winning Unbridled's Song mare Lucky Copy. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winner, multimillionaire, and sire Golden Pheasant; Grade 1 winner Henley's Joy; and talented two-year-old graded stakes winner of 2019 Dennis' Moment.

Hip 501 was bred in Kentucky by Fifth Avenue Bloodstock.
