Into Mischief Colt Sells for $700,000

Hip 274, a colt by Into Mischief, sold for $700,000 at the Selected Yearlings Showcase. The bay colt was purchased by Dr Dermot O'Byrne from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.

Into Mischief, last year's champion sire and current leading sire, is responsible for this year's Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Authentic, as well as top colts such as two-time Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) winner Goldencents and Grade 1 winners Audible and Practical Joke.

This colt is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner and multiple graded stakes winner Made You Look. His dam is the unraced Unbridled's Song mare Night and Day, a daughter of champion racemare Serena's Song and a half-sister to 10 winners, including Group 1 winner Sophisticat and Grade 2 winners Grand Reward and Harlington.

Hip 274 was bred in Kentucky by Lewis Thoroughbred Breeding.
