Team Casse Gets Into Mischief for $300,000
Hip 698, a colt by current Leading General Sire Into Mischief, sold for $300,000 during the second session of the Kentucky Fall Yearlings sale. The bay colt was purchased by Team Casse from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
Into Mischief is the sire this year of Grade 1 winners Mia Mischief and Covfefe, and is responsible for Grade 1 winning millionaire colts Goldencents, Audible, and Practical Joke. His progeny have earned more than $15,000,000 million in 2019 alone, putting him nearly $2,500,000 ahead of three-time Leading Sire and current runner up Tapit in 2019 earnings.
Tapit features in this colt's pedigree as well – the colt is the first foal out of Tapit's daughter Keesha. That mare is a half-sister to English group stakes winner and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint runner up Shumoos. Third dam is multiple Grade 1 winner Strategic Maneuver, dam of five winners, including Grade 2 winner Cat Fighter, Irish group stakes winner Ishiguru, and the dam of graded stakes winner Jennifer Lynette.
Hip 698 was bred in Kentucky by Capital Bloodstock.
