DJ Stable to $400,000 for Medaglia d'Oro Filly

Hip 62, a daughter of gold-standard sire Medaglia d'Oro, sold for $400,000 to take the lead during the first session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The gray or roan filly was purchased by DJ Stable LLC from the consignment of Baccari Bloodstock LLC, agent.

By Medaglia d'Oro, sire of top fillies and mares such as Rachel Alexandra, Wonder Gadot, and Songbird, and recent Grade 1 winners Cambier Parc, Elate, and Flit (AUS), this filly is out of the winning Unbridled's Song mare Appealing Bride.

Appealing Bride has produced four winners from as many to race, including multiple Grade 2 winner Appealing Tale and stakes winner Colerful Bride. Second dam is Grade 2 winner Regally Appealing, a half-sister to the stakes winning dam of Grade 2 winning multiple graded stakes winner and sire Rockport Harbor.

Hip 62 was bred in Kentucky by Seclusive Farm LLC.
