McPeek to $265,000 for First-Crop Nyquist Filly
Hip 1202, a filly from the first crop of Nyquist, sold for $265,000 early during the final session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The dark bay or brown filly was purchased by Kenneth McPeek, agent from the consignment of Baccari Bloodstock, agent.
From the exceptional first crop of Leading Freshman Sire of 2015 Uncle Mo, Nyquist was Eclipse Champion Male at 2 and 3, winning five Grade 1 stakes, including the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and the Kentucky Derby (G1).
This filly is of out the stakes winning Sea of Secrets mare Seacrettina. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winning Dreams Galore and graded stakes winners Absent Friend and Fateful Dream.
Hip 1202 was bred in Kentucky by Seclusive Farm LLC, Chester Prince, Anne Prince & James Murphy.
