The Factor Colt Sells for $250,000

Hip 1114, a colt by The Factor, sold for $250,000 during the third session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The gray or roan colt was purchased by Hollendorfer or January from the consignment of Lane's End, agent.
The Factor is the sire of this year's Bing Crosby S. (G1) winner Cistron, as well as of Grade 1 winner Noted and Quoted and Grade 2 winning colt Bound for Nowhere. This colt is the second foal out of a Medaglia d'Oro daughter of Grade 1 winner R Heat Lightning, who has also produced graded stakes winner Aster Pegasus.
Hip 1114 was bred in Kentucky by Dell Ridge Farm LLC.
