Hip 97, a colt by Into Mischief, sold for $260,000 at the Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale. The bay colt was purchased by Tom Durant from the consignment of McKathan Bros., agent after working an eighth in 10:2 (video).

Consistently among the leading sires of two-year-olds, Into Mischief is responsible for talented juveniles such as 2018 Grade 2 winners Instagrand and Maximus Mischief – both graduates of Fasig-Tipton two-year-old sales – and multiple Grade 1 winning juvenile Practical Joke. This colt is out of the stakes winning Grand Slam mare Cool Spell, who was twice graded stakes placed, and who has already produced multiple stakes winner Coarsegold and graded stakes placed winner Impressive Edge. Cool Spell is herself a full sister to multiple stakes winner Double Play and graded stakes placed winner Presto Change.
